• "We are the ones we've been waiting for."

Rosalyn Ross is a Registered Yoga Teacher certified at the 200 hour level (RYT-200).

A former marketing professional turned yogini, her yogic path began in 2004 when she sought out the practice to help relieve the stress of a high pressure work environment. From her very first class she was hooked.

After years of trying to find a way to make a teacher training program fit into her hectic schedule, the universe provided the perfect opportunity for Rosalyn to submit herself to her passion's calling.

    She was laid off.

And within two months of that life event Rosalyn was in New York City embarking on the next step along her path as a participant in Sonic Yoga's Summer Intensive 200-Hour Certification Program.

She completed her training and received her formal certification in August of 2011, registered with Yoga Alliance that same month and, shortly thereafter, began teaching Vinyasa Yoga to all levels and ages in her hometown of Memphis, TN.

  • "The Prize is in the Process."

The name says it all, "Your Movement". There is no perfect pose. Through Vinyasa Yoga, Rosalyn encourages students of all ages and levels of practice to find their strength and flexibility centered within the familiarity of their own bodies.

Vinyasa Yoga is a discipline that utilizes movement with the breath. Postures are linked together in a series guided by inhalations and exhalations. This discipline is diverse in its sequencing and offers a range of health benefits to those who practice it.

While emphasizing proper alignment, Rosalyn instructs each student to work at their own individual level and pace. No two people are the same. No two bodies are alike. Therefore, no two yoga practices will be identical.

Follow Your Breath. Find Your Center. Embody Your Movement.
